HPMC capsules, an abbreviation from hypro-mellose (hydroxypropyl methylcellulose), are vegetarian capsules made from plant fibres. They have a very similar appearance and dimensions to high quality gelatine capsules, with the same level of resiliency and flexibility.

Our HPMC capsules run very well on all makes of high speed automatic encapsulation machines, therefore, no adjustments are necessary for customers who use gelatine capsules in their operations. They are also compatible with GRAS and traditional formula coating.
